February’s Mask

I love the winter! I’m a little tired of all the snow storms NYC been getting but I still don’t mind the winter (I’m a November baby 🙌). One of the things I really don’t like is how dull my skin gets in the winter and I’m always looking for a skin remedy that doesn’t deal
with makeup because it’s a hassle to put your face on every morning just to give your skin a glow.
I have a few mask that I’m in LOVE with but I was looking for something a little different and came across this beauty.

Click the picture for the link ❤️

It’s $59 but worth every penny and a little goes a long way.

A few things I’ve noticed after using the mask for 2 weeks besides my skin being visibly brighter was my skin texture was immediately softer. Before using the mask I was also having issues with the dry weather drying out my skin but recently my face feels hydrated and I’m glowing and radiant like it’s summer time! My skin tone also appears more even.
Also it’s free of:
• parabens
• sulfates
• phthalates

The only con for me would be the algae smell is a little strong but the scent grows on you after a few uses.

-First I cleansed my face with Bliss Foaming cleanser
-Then I applied an even layer of the mask and left it on for 15 minutes
-After I exfoliated it off and put on my moisturizer.
This is definitely one of my new go-to products.

Simple Night Out💙

Hi everyone!
I went out with a few friends last night and my pants were a bit colorful and floral so I wanted to go for a more subtle look.
•BECCA ever-matte primer
•Used NARS concealer in “caramel” under my eyes and on faint marks on my face
•Then applied Bare Minerals “BareSkin Pure Brightening Serum foundation” (which is medium coverage but it is buildable, its for all skin types, and it tone-corrrects while leaving a natural finish) the color is in Bare Maple and I used my face perfecting brush from Bare Minerals also to apply it.
• I also went over my foundation with my beauty blender so it can appear more smooth on my skin
• for my highlighter I used “Copper” by MAC, blush is “Peach twist” by MAC which is a copper-peachy color so it can be used as highlighter too, and for contour I used “Blunt” by MAC.
• MAC “Riri Woo” pro longwear lip liner with Dangerous from MAC matte collection on the lips.
I’ll go in to detail on my eyes in a different post 😉

Welcome to my Beauty Diary

I’ve always been a makeup, hair, nails and skin care fanatic. Since the age of 13 I had a skin regimen so going through puberty was a breeze for me. I was almost always break – out free, although I didn’t have much blemishes I still have extremely sensitive skin so it took a lot of time and mistakes to find the right mix for my face. My hair was another issue (which is natural right now with a purple ombre at the ends) I went from relaxed to natural hair at the age of 12 and it took me some years to understand my natural hair and what it needed to stay healthy. Especially when I have an obsession with dying it, which I had some good and bad experiences with. So I would love to share some make-up tips and how to keep your skin and hair healthy as well my life experiences. Stay tuned✌
